Anyone know what this thing is?

Here is KityKity’s description:

This is not a mouse. But sometimes I forget and grab it.

I have no idea what this thing is and I’m intrigued. Anyone out there have an idea?

  4. To further, the [A] [1] and [F] are caps lock, num lock, and function lock lights…identical to the markings on my (wired) logitech keyboard…

  5. It’s a “fingerprint” reader

  6. Terrance,

No, I’m going with Mike and Bellevino’s suggestions. It can’t be a fingerprint reader because there is no scanner on it.

Especially since the [A] [1] [F] keys match other keyboard indicators.

  7. Definitely the receiver for a Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse. I have two of them.

  8. Hehe, this must be a reciever for a wireless keyboard – that saves battery by placing the state-diods on the reciever and not on the keyboard – my Logitech has the same smart function
