Watch 3.0 Is Out of Beta
I wrote before about Watch 2.0, but it still wasn’t perfect.
Once I started working with beads, I was able to start on Watch 3.0. I have finally perfected it and I’m extremely happy with the outcome. The complete pattern is here for you to enjoy!
If you’re not crafty, but would like to buy a watch like this, please visit my store on Etsy:
Here is the pattern for Watch 3.0:
Materials:
- Size 10 Crochet thread
- Matching seed beads
- Beading needle: These are tiny, flexible needles that allow you to easily string the beads. The first time I did this, I just used a normal needle. I can’t stress to you how much easier it is if you have a beading needle. The correct tools can make all the difference.
- Size 7 crochet needle
- One Clasp Toggle
- One Armitron women’s watch with the wristband removed
How To Crochet With Beads:
Crocheting with beads is a little more difficult than just crocheting. I don’t have to words for describing how to do it, so here is a video showing how to crochet with beads on the back and front of your work.

Front:
Using the beading needle, string a bunch of beads. If I counted correctly, it should be 175, but I usually string WAY more than I need because it’s difficult to add them later
